Let in the Light!

If there’s one thing that the spring usually brings, it’s sunshine.

With the days getting longer, it makes the perfect opportunity to get some of that brightness into your kitchen banishing any lingering winter blues. If you’re looking for a bit of a redesign, incorporate lighter colours like cream or white into your kitchen. Lighter colours can bounce light around your space to get rid of any dark shadows and really open up your space.

Bring Spring Indoors!

One thing that spring is known for is nature and lots of them, so why not decorate with some around your space? A few herbs on your windowsill or on a safe space on a countertop is one of the best ways to incorporate some spring joy into your kitchen design without having to make any major design changes.

Filling a clear vase with lemons or limes, or a few scented candles dotted around for a pop of colour works just as well.

No one likes cleaning, but spring does take the opportunity to tidy up. Spring is a time of rebirth and new beginnings, so getting rid of all that rubbish you’ve accumulated over the winter months is a great start.

Thinking about changing your kitchen design any time soon? Maybe for Spring? Is it something you’ve been putting off doing for longer than you’d care to mention at this point?
