The grooved side has a conventional key section to engage standard roll or cut grooved IPS pipe of same size as the mating HDPE pipe. Victaulic products for HDPE systems are rated to the working pressure of the HDPE pipe.

- Bolts/Nuts: Heat-treated plated carbon steel, trackhead meeting the physical and chemical requirements of ASTM A-449 and physical requirements of ASTM A-183
- Washers: Hardened steel flat washers meeting ASTM-F436 Type 3 requirements
